I really dont think you shoulda go to the upper 180s for your heartrate should you? isn't that dangerous/damaging to the heart?

that I want to push thru the pain .. but i think its best that i back it down and allow myself to heal all the way before I injure myself further.. what do you think Shanti??

Absolutely you should not run on a sprained ankle - it will throw you out of whack all over the place, not just that leg :S You MUST allow yourself to heal properly. Perhaps swimming with an ankle brace would help while you wait?
