HEY GUYS...please help me out somebody.....HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN OPERATING SYSTEMS BY CHANGING BIOS SETTINGS ? what i mean is...my bro somehow manages to change the OS from BIOS ....when the pc is turned on....windows 7 is starting up and then he suddenly does something in BIO.the PC is restarted and windows XP begins to start up ! this can be done vice versa ! please help me how to do it !

@DaBro231 maybe you dont have a cd-rom or your computer system(your motherboard) doesnt recognize your cd-rom because it maybe broken or not properly installed.

I have a few problems...
First my computer does not tell me what button to press to enter BIOS
IT DOES NOT!
Second the closest i came to bios was SYSTEM SETTINGS and i cant get anything done from there..
BTW im using an old Compaq Presario so i can install linux in it.
Help if you can plz

i have a problem about booting up...
i upgraded my cd drive to a dvd drive but after that i cant boot to a dvd..in the bios in boot priority its a cd-r not a dvd-r .
the dvd is working and i can watch a movie...
and my windows installation dvd is iso image
im using usb keyboard ...

Um, yea. I have a password to my boot menu. I dont know what it is. is there anyway to reset it without knowing the password?
