Two of our 2009 summer walkers have joined the Dominicans, Order of Preachers. Mike and Jeff trained and walked with the MoEs for the first two weeks, and left July 5, 2009 to start their Postulancy with the Dominicans in Providence, Rhode Island. Just being around Mike and Jeff and getting to know them these past two weeks has called us all to a deeper conversion and a greater love for our Eucharistic Lord. Martha and I wanted to sing this song to them as a gift, but turned out as more of a prayer for us walkers as we all miss having Mike and Jeff around--making jokes, playing guitar, and attacking Dave Sao. Even though they are greatly missed, we look forward to spending time with them in the Eucharist (and you readers too!!!), as we all are United through the Body of Christ.
