I decided to get a second opinion on the whole reading-the-bible-thing, from someone a bit more close to the issue on the other side.
Yeah, I could have pressed him harder on some of the points, but I wasn't there to win arguments, I was there to get information.

this is going to be difficult to explain cause i feel like no matter what i say you will say its not proof cause proof is something as simple as watching the sun come up. But DNA is the simpliest example cause the information it holds about the bing it comes from is far more than we can create. Scientist have proof. just one cell from a body has thousands of words to explain. Its basically detail onhow to rebuild an entire body.

@Desertphile I'm not interested in bible study...I'm interested in religious believer study. And it seems like a lot of believers go with KJV.

But.... The King James Authorized version is considered by a great many Bible scholars as one of the worse when it comes to its translations. For example it rendered "God" when the bible says "the gods;" it rendered "angels" where the Bible says "the songs of the gods;" it gives "lord" where the Bible says "yahweh." It even screwed up "virgin!" (No pun intended.)

The KJV is an abominable version. Nobody interested in Bible study would use it.

@BionicDance ok....my mother called...anyways it would take to long to explain...so if you read on read on why prof. Anthony Flew conferted by scientific proof, unraveling of the DNA code(dr frances collins), Paul Davies, and the Fibonacci number... and how can you explain nothing comes from nothing? Something has to creat something.
