Wow, wonderful. The beauty this city/ area has is just grand. For years such cultural qualities were looked at as unwanted. During the 1800's the great people of South East Louisiana were bestowed great discrimination by the americans, only for being different, our peoples language, cuisine, religion and many other things were basically out lawed. Today this is still happening in a sense. To stop this support the Imperial-Oligarchical Republic to save these qualities with a facebook like.
I just wanted to say thank you for your video! I am doing an extensive reading assignment and actually "seeing" what I'm reading makes the story so much more vivid and understandable. Being from New York, I have never heard of a Shotgun House so, you can imagine my confusion. Haha! Thank you again and very informative!!
I use to rent a shotgun house in 70380 it's a place to live we stayed dry when it rained. What I liked about living there was you could grow things really easily the ground is so fertile. You can catch fish all the time and have delicious food provided you plant a crop and go fishing.
Ha. Ha. Yeah, my cousin's house has both a front door bell and back door bell. The dog can never figure out which bell is ringing, so she runs frantically end to end until somebody goes to one door or the other.
One of the salient features of a New Orleans shotgun is that dogs LOVE to run up and down the big, long 'hall' from the front of the house to the back. It's enough to drive you insane.

Does Shotguns come in more than two rows? Are there any rowhome style shotguns in New Orleans? Nice video.
