Two People. An ITV drama series from 1979 starring Gerry Cowper. I can't find much about it on the web, but here's the theme music which I recorded off the telly many years ago. If anyone has any actual clips or stills from the series, please let me know!

I can remember this series. I don't recall it ever being repeated. Perhaps Network DVD or a similar company will buy the rights and release it. Thanks for uploading.

I remember this very well too. Have been looking for it for years but have never found even a blip about it until now. Would love to see it again. I was 14 when it came out.

This series was a little before my time, but I've been fascinated by the idea of it ever since I heard of it. The Times archive claims transmission was held back for a year because London Weekend got cold feet about the content. As for the critical reaction, one Times reviewer thought it ridiculous, while another found it well written and a 'class above the usual romantic serial'. Would be nice to see for ourselves on DVD, along with LWT's Helen - A Woman of Today, and Inimate Strangers

I also remember this series, used to love watching it on a saturday night, was 13 at the time and the two 15 year olds seemed so adult! I also would love to know if LWT ever got in on DVD

I thought I was the only one who remembered this series.

    Pleased I was wrong.
