theres something we agree on: cant argue with opinion. but we can discuss in a civil manner.
I consider myself pretty open minded and who knows maybe dreamkiller is like an album that you listen to at first and dont like but when you play it in the right state of mind its good. I thought the idea behind it was genius & meant limitless creativity would be possible in the game which is probably why I was disappointed. guess it just missed my expectations which at times are probably too high
chill out, I didnt think this was an argument anyways. Simply stating the facts.
$30 is not really an issue for me, I agree there are better value games out there, the orange box for example. But I have purchased far less enjoyable games for more.
Some love these type of games other do not, cant argue with opinion.
Whatever, I'm not gonna argue with you. You win if you think this game is worth playing, go for it. Not my problem you have low standards/short attn span. to compare apples to apples Painkiller was far better than this. its hard to justify this game, which is full of bugs and lacks any depth, to cost $30 (unless its on sale like this weekend for $23, still too high a price). Not when things like orange box have 5 games that are all far better for $30.
4. All enemies just run at you, but their abilitys are different
5. Each weapon has a alt fire which allows for combos and makes the weapon completely different, e.g. freeze gun + shotgun (shatter frozen enemies), minigun + rocket launcher, dream machine (attracts mobs to a spot).
and yeah each level has different enemies, but they all pretty much fight the same way so it doesnt matter. anyways, I dont think its worth $23 or whatever they're asking for.
Yeah but... even old school fps had tons more weapons to choose from. This has what? four or five? considering its a game entirely centered around one thing: shooting and killing hordes, you would expect there to be a much better selecton. and even let you carry more than one gun at a time... which also makes no sense given the premise of the game.
I have that game

1. More than 5 weapons
2. More types of monsters than most fps games
3. Oldschool fps = killing hordes diablo style
Just how far did you get in this game?
