A haunting long forgotten Glen Campbell tune, recorded in 1963, long before he became well known from Wichita Lineman.

  • cool. will you build a new cabinet for it?

  • @videoMC2010 I'm going to design a new cabinet based on a 1964 Pye console.

  • Thanks. The cabinet had extensive water damage.

  • So Interesting!! I love seeing things like this saved! Can't wait to see the cabinet you build for it!

  • I have this album plus at least 8 other Glen Campbell albums. That looks similar to the tonearm in my Zenith console with the Micro Touch 2g turntable. Good luck building your new cabinet. At least you were able to save the guts from the old one.

  • Too bad the cabinet was damaged. I love the smooth operation of the GE Tonal 1. It's quite nice with the chrome counterweight and very light tracking force for a ceramic cartridge turntable. I have a few of these. Nice post - glad you rescued these nice GE components.

  • nice save, the cabinet was too far gone i assume?
