Ballston Spa, N.Y. Flooding (March 2011)

The Creek is rising! Homes are in danger of flooding. The ice has shifted and blooked the water from moving. Pretty serious situation. Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, New York.

Hi it is nice to know that somebody else is on here that either lives in Ballston Spa or has somebody that lives in my town. I live like 5 minuets from Kelly park and take my daughter to play their every year=) I havnt been down thier yet this year so I am defently going to drive by thier soon today. yes That is the worse it has been as far as I can remember and I am 29 this year!

and I remember hearing the Ambulance going by that day=) I live off of the road that is Bomens apple orchard=)

@jsrcamp I was just there taking pictures of 2 American Bald Eagles and you cant really use the park. The grass is still too wet, there is snow and forget about walking the trail down back. I guess if you wanted to you could wear boots but Id wait to take a walk. You'll recognize me, Im the grandmother with the chinese little girl and the camera :-) Please say hello :-)

I moved from Saratoga in late October to SW NM. Old neighbors where I used to live told me that they hadn't seen as much snow in the last 30+ years. Guess I made it out just in time. Both times it snowed here it melted in 2 hours. Watched your other snow vlogs and want to say Thank you for reminding me what I am fortunate to have missed.

@10susan10 Lucky You, thanks I THINK? LOL Its too late for me to go, I cant leave my grandkids. My family is so good to me Id be afraid to go live anywhere else. I often think it would be nice to be somewhere warm year round but where? With who? Anywhere Id go I would be alone and friendless so why go? All I need is here except for this darn snow! Its snowing like crazy as I type and Im not kidding, its snowing hard today.

Oh my goodness!! She's practically got rapids in her backyard-- my heart goes out to all these folks who lose part of their yards every Spring like this. My sincere hope your granddaughter stays safe and dry!
