Wel the darn thing froze up again. I can only presume a few things that could be wrong, but none of them seem to be plausible. It's 8,000 BTU's by the way.

  • it could just be becasue the room has a high humidity all the water out of the air will hit the coils and freeze up, if the hose that goes outside is warm then it should be ok and usualy if there is a leak on the system you can hear it hissing, i have had this problem with my portable ac and to stop mine i turned the fan speed up and made sure my room was too humid

  • @Mrwilson0506 The fan was on the highest speed before I made the video, I turned it down after the first signs if ice to see if it would make any weird noises. Thanks for the help, it probably was humidity.
