Its not written by Henry VII. Henry did not compose "Greensleeves", which is probably Elizabethan in origin and is based on an Italian style of composition that did not reach England until after his death

@warooo9 No one knows who wrote this song DUUUUUUUUH !!!!! Mozart was born in 1756,so he didn't write greensleeves.Its believed Henry VIII wrote it, but unproven.

@SuperGamerTutorials This song is definitely not from Mozart (b.1750s), was around way before that. Funny enough Shakespeare included it in his writings around 1602 – there's a clue there ;)

I went to Northern Ireland last summer, and this piece reminds me of the Irish countryside; rolling green hills, peaceful hills, thick, gray, shimmering mists, glassy lakes,. . . I could go on for hours. Beautiful!
Greensleeves isn't an Irish song. It's an English song.
Either way, it's a great song :)
