The image of the Virgin Mary miraculously appeared on a cactus fiber 'tilma' or cloak of Juan Diego in 1531 near what is modern day Mexico City. Is it a true miracle of the God of the Bible? You decide, better yet, read up on all the apparitions of the Virgin Mary that are approved as worthy of belief by the Catholic Church. To me this is as baffling an image as the Shroud of Turin, with no brush strokes or directionality on the original painting. Thoroughly investigate this miracle before you scoff and dismiss it. I dare you.

Mary is the only woman who can defeat God Himself. I say this without any scruple whatsoever. Instead of killing an entire city of murderous people, Mary instead converted an entire population of murderous people (the Aztecs of old that is, I don't beleive Native Americans are murdeorus or anything, especially since the Incas themselves weren't as bad as the Aztecs at all) by talking to them, not looking down on them. Long live the Queen of Heaven, She's the only Queen I'll ever proclaim!

@SupaaNerdddxD I have pictures and statues as well, but don't WORSHIP Mary...Check out the Catechism of the Catholic Church, all answers are in there. Catholics venerate (honor) Mary, but do NOT worship her. If we did, that would be idolotry, breaking the first commandment. When we pray to Mary, we are only asking her to pray for us. (check out the last line of the hail mary prayer) I hope that was helpful. If you were named after her, you have a beautiful name!
