@AlterTremonti Awesome job with the song, you're an excellent player, but could you tell me just two things, how excatly did you do the thing between the fingerpicking intro riff to those bendy chords to the chorus? And also could you tell me what chords did you use after the intro riff and the chorus chords? Mine sounds similiar to yours but I like yours better. It'd be great if you could tell me them.

@Jose91gnr Thanks! I place the pick on the inside of my index finger. I learn parts of this song from tab but other parts by ear.

I dont think ive really noticed this until right now, But you dont use a pick in this video do you? Ive heard of finger picking style before, As a musician I naturally have noticed that mark tremonti does use this technique alot. But I use a pick for this song... Lol so am I in the wrong if I can master this masterpiece with a pick? :P

@TheAntimute Yes I use a pick for most of the song. I just don't use a pick for the clean finger picked parts. I only finger pick when there is finger picking in the song... for instance playing 2 or 3 notes at the same time that would otherwise be impossible with a pick.
