Today on this 2009 Saturn Outlook we are going to install part number 75528 from Draw-Tite. This also applies to part number 87435 from Hidden Hitch. The first thing we need to do is remove this small panel at the bottom of the bumper here. There are two little tabs that you just twist, it removes, that is it. The actual panel itself will stay off because the hitch will be in the way from here on out. :26

Now we need to lower the exhaust to give us some working room on the passenger side of the vehicle. There is one on each side of the muffler. We will spray down the rubber hanger here with some lubricant. Now that we have it lubricated, we are going to push pull the exhaust hangers off the exhaust. With the exhaust cleared out of the way we can show you were the attaching points will be on the vehicle. :55

First off, looking at the driver side of the vehicle we have these two threaded holes right here that we are going to use. They will be the same on both sides of the frame. On the bumper structure itself there are two more threaded holes here and here that the hitch will use also. Next thing we want to do is clean out the threads on the frame, we are going to use a lubricant to loosen all the junk in there. We will go ahead and run our hitch bolt in to make sure we get everything cleared out. Now the older the vehicle the worse it is going to be. It may take some time to run the bolts in and out. 1:28

At this point we can lift the hitch up in position and install the bolts. It is a good idea to have an extra set of hands to hold up the other side until you get the bolts installed. Now take the two bolts that are going through the bumper structure, leaving our hitch as loose as possible, we will go ahead and thread these bolts in. Once we get everything started we can snug down the bolts and then torque them down as specified in the instructions. With our hitch torqued down we can go ahead and reinstall the exhaust hangers. Now that we have the vehicle off the life we are going to give you a couple measurements to help you hitch accessories for your vehicle. First off, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19-3/8 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is looking about 5 inches. That will finish our install of Draw-Tite part number 75528 on a 2009 Saturn Outlook.
