Axel's Vultures - An Axel Tribute

*SPOILERS*
This AMV contains spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 2. You have been waaaarned...

This may well be the most accurate to Axel's personality and state of mind out of all the tribute AMVs I've done of him D:

This was a birthday present AMV I made for one of my two best friends in the world, Eva. It was late this year because I wasn't able to access the internet for four days D'X There was noise on the phone line, and since I use dial-up, that prevented me from using the internet AT ALL.
While Axel may not be her favorite character (she doesn't really have one yet; just like me back when I played the original CoM), she introduced me to this song, and when I suggested that it'd make a good Axel tribute vid, she seemed really excited about that, so, since I couldn't think of anything else I could do (freshly coming off my hiatus of bleh), I did this for her ^^'

If any part of this vid looks like it was just made up as I went along, it probably was o_o honestly, I actually didn't plan on including SoKai in this initially, but the idea just popped into my head when I got to the middle part of it, and I liked the depth it added to the story, so in it went.

But, I think I got back my passion for AMV editing again. That love of making something amazing out of a song that you didn't have a CLUE what exactly to do with...it's a pretty cool feeling. And I found a time of day that is much better for working on AMVs than my previous one, so I just might be able to start and finish AMV projects more regularly now.

I apologize for my three-month hiatus, my inspiration and motivation to make AMVs just ran dry for a while. If you REALLY want to know what happened in those three months, feel free to check out my livejournal, but if you don't want to, just know that it was personal family-economic issues that got me down.

I loved this video. So much. It's so good to see something from you again, because you give me inspiration to make videos on WMM, proving to me that there can be some amazing videos done on it.

This also made me smile, but sadly. Axel tributes are always a bittersweet thing. ^^

lol, well, a friend of mine who I've been talking to a lot lately doesn't like Axel very much (due to his killing of Zexion), so that was sort of a mini shout-out to him. Plus there's the symbolism; Saix being a bit like a vulture, and Axel not being entirely blameless or good. But that's just me ^^'
