  • My god, I'm crying and my stomach hurts. I've had to stop this countless times so I don't explode.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. It's so refreshing to see a satirical side to Kennedy's family, rather than all those soppy tributes with sad violin in the backround.

  • The voice actress doing Jackie Kennedy was/is first rate. Exactly how she sounded.

  • I believe Pres. Kennedy enjoyed listening to this offering. Upon his death, 'The First Family' pretty much went away. I still have my original LP.

  • @juicebocZ You are an absolute idiot, this was produced when Kennedy was still alive. Many people, including Kennedy's supporters, loved the good natured ribbing this album gave him. It was never intended, nor was it taken, to diminish Kennedy in any way. As for your opinion of him as the greatest leader America has ever had I would say there are many people who would posit that there could be others who edge him out. Lighten up.

  • This is the most undeserving piece of shit I've ever seen. For someone to win a grammy for making fun of the greatest leader America has ever had. Fucking stupid.

  • "The carpenters were a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Al Bianchi..." Al Bianchi played for the Syracuse Nats of the NBA at that time. Maybe he was a friend of Vaughn's?

  • I also listened to this when I was a child, in the late 60's. Still funny in year 2011! ESP the Nixon jokes; now that they are both gone.

  • The President got lost??!! TOO funny!

The lady nailed Jackie's voice to a T!

  • BUT VOTE!

  • @funkypunkno2 I've been hearing about this record all my life. Actually, I'm amazed by how sympathetic it is to these people. The things my Great-grandparents used to say about them could have peeled the paint right off the walls. They'd start with "Gold-digging nouveaux-riche gangster moll", and then it would get UGLY from there...

  • NEVER thought I'd get to hear this! My parents' copies were confiscated after the assassination! But Mom has always loved to do her version of 'the tour'. Great to hear the original! THANKS!

  • "President Blue" is a family joke!
