This a replacement for a video posted last December called "Re: Burn In Hell You Fucking Atheist." The original still exists, but its sound has been destroyed. It, along with 13 other videos, has had the audio corrupted to a hiss for a min ute or so, and then no sound at all.

Here's a link to the video this replaces:

  • Correction on 2Pet2:4 Hell is not to be understood literally)

  • @potooth Well, it is a matter of interpretation, and I have heard it both ways. This is one of the many topics that can be "proved," or at least supported either way using scripture. The vagueness of scripture and the sometimes glaring contradictions are part of the reason I rejected it entirely long ago.

  • There are millions of Christians who think you are wrong. Whom should the atheist believe? By what criteria is your interpretation of hell any more valid than a literalist's view?

  • That millions of Christians (or Buddhists or Hindus or Muslims) believe anything is no reason to accept it. Millions of Romans believed in Jupiter and millions of Greeks in Zeus. I dare say you would not be moved by numbers in those cases. Maybe Horus or Isis are the true gods. The same case could have been made for them in their day.

  • LGO64 Enjoyed the video, A couple comments; 2Pet2:4( I believe this is figurative imagery. 'Chains of darkness' are not literal chains therefore 'hell' Greek#5020 which means eternal torment is to be understood literally as well; See Eze28:17,18. Notice the nature of Satan's destruction.) 2Pet3:12,13(The lake of fire is on the surface of the earth and not in a sub terrianian location.) Rev20:9,10(Fire came down from heaven to destroy the wicked)

    Thank you

  • @ potooth I find no fault in your citations. The point of the video was that both a fiery eternal hell and a final destruction in the lake of fire can be supported by scripture. The contradictory nature of the bible is one of the reasons I rejected the whole long ago.

  • In case anyone misunderstands me, I do not belive in the number of believers being relevant - I was asking potooth a question by putting one foot in his world.

    Potooth:

"If our preconceived ideas are incorrect then we will reach incorrect interpretations."

"Because I believe God exists I ask Him to show me the truth of His word."

    Oh, the irony.

  • 100 people can interpret a writing 100 different ways. Millions fall very short of the, im sure, more than a billion christian's on the earth. In addition universal truth is not measured by appeal. Truth doesnt need consensus to be factual. stating how many people believe doesn't make what you say any more relevant.

  • Hell is not a place; she is a goddess, Helle. I forgot where she is from and what characterisctics she posesses, I never connected with her. I do know she is not to be feared.

  • Intiom another thought. Often times our preconceived ideas influence our interpretations. If our preconceived ideas are incorrect then we will reach incorrect interpretations. I try to let the bible speak for itself and in this way I believe I will see the correct interpretation. Because I believe God exists I ask Him to show me the truth of His word. It comes down to faith in someone bigger and wiser than me, thats all.

  • Its a privilege for me to present what I believe to be true. Its not my burden to convince anyone that what I believe is true. I am giving my testimony and leaving it at that. What I hold as truth will not ring true for some but for some it will. The sharing of ones beliefs has the potential of being beneficial in that it may spark thoughts that weren't previously considered. I believe the absolute truth is available for anyone who searches diligently for it. Thank you

  • You still haven't understood. Anything that can be interpreted through carefully filleted scripture, can also be dismissed through alternately filleted scripture. The "millions of other Christians" I mentioned could equally find parts of the bible that suit their beliefs.

All an atheist would see is two people finding reflections of their opinions within the same book.

  • Matt25:46, Jude7, 2Pet2:6(Is Sodom & Gomorrah still burning today?), Rev20:9, Eze28:17,18, Ob16. The bottom line is people are going to believe what they want. I base my belief on a common sense understanding of what scripture plainly says and not what the ancient Babylonian mystery religions say. It is this influence that has polluted the pure gospel and it all started with Simon Magus mentioned in Acts8. Thank you

  • God is not vindictive and a tyrant. He is just and merciful. Wickedness and evil will be destroyed completely. It will not exist in any way, shape or form after the new heavens & earth are created. Eternal torment originates out of pagan mythology and is not founded in scripture. Here are some verses you may want to check out. Job14:10-14, 17:13-16, 19:25-27, Jn5:28,29, Ps146:3,4, 1Tim6:16, 1Cor15:51-55, Ps115:17, Acts2:34, Ps6:5, Eccl9:5,6, Eze18:4, Rom6:23, 2Pet3:8, Matt4:1-3, Ps37:10,20,36,
