Another Christmas video - this time for the full-length version of Beatles song 'Christmas Time (is Here Again)'!

Incase you aren't familiar with the song, it was written by all 4 Beatles (making it one of the few 'Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, Starkey' songs ever written) and recorded in late 1967. Fragments of the song were heard on the flexi-disc 'Christmas Time is Here Again!' and an edited version was released as the b-side of 'Free as a Bird'. However, the full-length version presented here has never been officially released, which is a shame because it is an amazing song.

The song begins at 0:39 and ends at 7:19

I have also included 3 Christmas messages for Beatles fans:
1. A poem read by John Lennon at the end of the fan club flexi-disc 'Christmas Time is Here Again'. You'll hear this at the begining of the video.
2. A Christmas message recorded by the Beatles in 1963 for the Saturday Club.
3. A Christmas message recorded by 'Nelson Wilbury' (aka George Harrison. This message includes a sample of the Traveling Wilburys song 'Handle With Care').

Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

  • I think I have heard the whole Move production.

But a song lacks. Jeff Lynne- song Falling

Forever in Lookin on time in 1970. It would be very nice to hear. Is it released ? Or someone could put it

here. I think you are expert.

  • I can't say I've ever heard of 'Falling Forever', but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

  • Thanks lc I am going to post this one. I don't know who Nelson Wlibury is but he can only be one of two people. I am still looking for an ELO Christmas song.

  • Nelson Wilbury is a pseudonym for George Harrison. All of the Travelling Wilburys used pseudonyms for their names.

  • I got a version of this song around 1968 or 1969, on a bootleg Beatles Album called "Get Back to Toronto". When I bought it I didn't know it was bootleg ... but I'm still glad I got it.... Love It !
