@nodak88 I agree w you, but on both sides of the issue. I agree that "what you wear when you perform" is taken into consideration, but not WHY you said so. It is simply & purely because we have eyes. My point is this, and let it be read by @Caution102 also... Nodak says a "beautiful woman" showing lots of skin will distract. Let's put the same outfit (diff size) and the exact same talent - voice, acting - into a FAT, Ugly young lady. @Nodak, still would you say that the outfit doesn't matter?

@caution102 Lastly, please note that I did not advocate for her to WEAR said choir robe. Not at all. I merely used choirs in robes to illustrate my point that the visual is undeniably part of the presentation, and therefore part of the performance itself. Only a recording, or her singing from the back balcony could totally make aural part of the presentation "all that matters".

@Qwinkly3 Your reply makes no sense and is completely opposite of what I even said in the first place...And that it has been ONE hole year later that I actually wrote that comment, I realize now that yes the language was unneccessary, I can admit that. but my point still stands today as it did a year ago. I appreciated the video for her TALENT not her t*ts :)

@caution102 - Choir robes are so boring and one color for the whole group that they allow the listeners to concentrate only on the SOUNDS, without the distraction of 30 separate outfits. I have to this point only addressed the topic of the visual presentation as a theory. I expect you to contain your language and your answer, if any, to the topic, and not stoop to profanity or irrelevant and adolescent name-calling, which did not support your position the last time.

@caution102 That is not "all that matters". Since she is performing live, in sight of her audience, & not just a recording, her clothing becomes part of the performance. It is the largest, most constant, most visible part of "stage presence". Her face changes, posture, gestures, vocal emotions/style/tone color all change, but the chosen "costume" or outfit of EVERY live performer is undeniably part of the presentation. This is EXACTLY why large choirs wear boring robes, to reduce the visual.

I understand these lyrics are random and comical, but do you think this would pass for my voice class? We have to sing a "comedy song" and I'm not really sure what that is...
-
wow i love it. I lauged because the lyrics are so random but amazing. "Cousin Garry is reading porn..." haha

Thanks for posting this. This song is one of my very favorites and you did an excellent job with it.

Her talent is singing and acting...not dressing and clothing style. pay attention to what shes good at. who cares if she wears low cut tops. if thats all you look at your either well..a guy. a lesbo. or judgemental/jelous b!tch.
jeez. shes an amazing artist. thats all that matters.
i can totally see her as the next Sutton Foster
