I thought Sufi Whirling Dervishes whirled counter clockwise with one hand palm up and the other palm down and with the right foot stepping over the left. IS the title of this video a mistake?

This dance is not religious, for one to understand Sufu dance, they must study about Mavlana Jalaluddin Balkhi Rumi, and why and how he performed Sufi dance.
