@terrapinbrad I totally agree with you :) And yes, I think it's really sad...It's impossible to deny her talent ;)

@raisingirl88 Yes, Tori ENHANCES the emotion of the music, whether it's an original or a cover. I've loved her since Under The pink, so it's been a minute or two... 1- She's GORGEOUS. 2- She's a wonderfully artistic musician, and yes...a genius one at that. She does a lot of covers, but she makes them her own with a true reinterpretation of the music and not an impersonation. ...sad when one cannot recognize such talent, but still feels the need to express and spread negativity. ;-}

thought she was going into 'holding back the years' by simply red at the start!

this version blows lol

Each cover she does is different. Her cover of "Personal Jesus" is really spunky!

But I'm not here to be her lawyer... I've listened different kinds of what I call music in my life... Punk, Rock, Metal, Prog Rock and also Classical Music. I've never found a girl who sings and plays like her, that's the reason why she is a genius to me. I understand her and her songs and their songs understand me. There's nothing better :)

Your words doesn't make any sense :) If you don't hate her, be polite when you talk about her and her works. Probably you have other musical taste. American Doll Posse doesn't represent her. And in fact you like it. Not all of her songs are depressed, you know! And I'm still curious about what you love musically speaking. You should probably like happy songs, I don't know. She is not sad, she is emotional... It's different. And above all, her songs are not just sad, they contains strenght too.
I'm a hardcore Stevie/Fleetwood Mac fan. and i must say, she does this song poetic, melodic justice
