  • i hate how everybody only talks about the Brits and the Americans. Canada was there on dday, and we took a beach as well.

  • In the end....United States, Britain, and Russia liberated Europe.....

  • this is what we want to see @historychannel !!!!!! I'm tired of turning in and seeing Pawn fucking stars every damn time! How is that history!!! Sure, the things people bring in from the past can be historic, but that doesn't mean you should stop airing intersting things about REAL HISTORY!!! I don't even tune in any more i used to hope it was something good, but now every time is Pawn Stars, IRT (which his the stupidest idea for a show i've ever heard), and ax men!!!! AXMEN??? Credibility gone.

  • I believe Poland, Australia and USSR weren't, but La Résistance Française was. There were a lot of sabotages that night and they informed the people of France to brace themselves. If you actually know that the others helped, please let me know. I love history

  • @MrDrewpweiner I think they were all involved in the Allies' Normandy landing

  • @joemanYT I was only talking about the D-Day landings, but yes, all those countries, especially Australia, are extremely underrated

  • @MrDrewpweiner And free France, and free Poland, and Australia, and the Soviet Union

  • The wars key points were a lot of things:

Great Britain standing tall and strong.

France and it's resistance liberating Paris, providing a beacon of hope for west. Europe.

America defeating the Japanese by themselves basically and playing a major role in Europe, liberating France and the west.

The USSR withstanding Germany's constant onslaught and pushing them back with valor, notably at Stalingrad.

Kudos to all countries for doing their best to free Europe.

  • @jwka2001 Im going to assume you're American, so here we go. Are you familiar with the war of 1812, where US attacked Canada? Canada pushed the US back and burnt down the first White House. I believe we also took most, if not all of Michigan, but Madison realized that attacking Canada was incredibly stupid and begged for mercy and to have his land back. Good thing us Canadians take pity on crying president Madison and gave the baby his land back. If youre not american, please state your country

  • @MrDrewpweiner lol canada has a military when did this happen

  • The Allies had won the war Europe, but in the pacific is a very different matter. Almost

all the major and decisive battles where fought only by the Americans here.

  • @MrDrewpweiner True true ...
