This catchy song is from Vilma's 1973 LP "Sing, Vilma, Sing". I just found out that it was actually composed way back in 1914! It was recorded by Debbie Reynolds and Carlton Carpenter in 1950 and became a hit for them in 1951. Same song was featured in the 1959 movie "Have Rocket, Will Travel", starring The Three Stooges.

  • I know the 1914 recordings, and I had no idea that it was still being recorded as late as 1973. I read that it was a major hit for Arthur Fields, but I know it best by Collins & Harlan.

  • nora is great ..vilma sucks

  • Tama!

Hehehe. Just keep on gathering them.
