Thames Barrier Park - Lumix GH1

From UK based director Joe Shaw, this short film tests the new Panasonic GH1 stills camera - capable of shooting HD video too. Filmed in and around the Thames Barrier Park.

Most of the footage is with the stock lens, some of it is with a Canon FD 1.4 lens which was fitted with an adapter.

The grade was done in Magic Bullet Looks.

Shoot in SHD mode which is 720/50. (60 in NTSC) then drop into a 25p timeline and adjust the speed.

You can do this in any editing software. Just reduce the speed to 50%. I use Edius but other editors may vary.

it is possible that resolution of this video is to 1080p, having shot to 60p?

Is GH1 better to shoot video that the 5dmkII?

That was beautifully shot. I learnt something too as i wasnt aware of a park at the thames barrier. This camera has gone from a possibility to an almost definite for my next camera.
