I just came back from there and while I was returning from VA I had the idea to stop there. we did the auto tour. Not even close in detail to what we are learning here but it was free I took my time and then went to the visitors center and hung out in Gettysburg the self tour is free and the town is awesome you can see that a motor shell hit a building....etc worth every cent for gas and hotel

10 months ago I left this! lol Thanks for getting back to me. around 3:35 when they mention about the skeletal remains did they find out who that person was? He also said sometimes they have had found bones pre-dating the civil war so was any battle of the revolutionary war here or any other battle? Sorry I guess I was not to clear. Was that you driving? I always wanted to do something like this is it worth going to see and learn more about? How much are these tours if you don't mind me asking?

Did they find out who the person was they found? And was there a war in this area maybe the Revaluation that they found a pre date skeleton's ?

Sorry I over looked your question, it happens when I dont get notifications. As for the remains that were found I have absolutely no idea what become of them. While I am a Civil War history enthusiast I never followed up on the remain. I have never read of any other battles at Gettysburg, I think he was mainly referring to earlier residents and native Americans. The person driving was a park ranger, he drives your vehicle and explains the battle for @$50. Worth every penny. Just get there early.
