but realistically he wasn't playing this level of starcraft in the past year and a half
he had like 4 month where he was untouchable and than got figured up
crazy macro and crazy timing attacks

But Kal also saw (as far as I could tell) that ForGG didn't take his gas at the natural and not a single vulture came out of his base. He should have asked himself what Terran would do with all those minerals if he's not making vultures.
Of course if he had done that, we probably wouldn't have this epic game with multiple 20+ kill reavers and super exciting micro for 10 minutes straight.

There are two counters... psi storm or reavers. He already had reavers.
You could see how much huge damage the reavers were doing, it just wasn't enough since he got caught off guard with the timing attack.
