Missing much of the footage in the viewing room scene. Too bad because we did some reverses of the back of their heads looking at the screen, looked good...oh well. Also missing is a scene between Mr. Rothman and the cops.
My assignment was to take a class of 8 acting students from the Tisch School of the Arts and produce a short Film or TV Pilot that used all the kids. My idea was to put them into a pretend teleplay. So, I took/stole an old episode of Law & Order and re-wrote the script to accommodate the class. It was a very weird episode about a murdered film director whose killer turns out to be a high-society lady. I made the victim the owner of a film production studio called Brick Street Studios and I had the cops, especially one, be repelled by the acting world. The two cops have scenes with various wives, girlfriends, daughters and interns until we find the killer, who it turns out, actually runs the studio.
Wonderfully shot by Damian Calvo, it was never edited. I recently found some of the miniDVs and decided to see if the material cut together in any way, shape or form. The shooting script along with the shot sheets and notes are lost, so, working from poor memory and on squirrelly Windows Movie Maker.
Forgive the lack of cast & crew credits, as I lost that list too. Will fill that in when I find names.
