It's been said, this guy is insanely underrated. I'd put him right up there with Shalaty and Kollias to be honest. The technicality and the fact that he can keep pace with speed of these Quo Vadis songs is just brilliant.

@Iamtheheretic He's trying to rest as much as possible on technical parts since the really fast part requires ridiculous stamina. IDK how many song in the set this was but death metal drumming is insanely physical and he's probably pushing himself to his limit; after a while the already-small part of the song he can rest on isn't enough and it gets a little sloppy. Keep in mind that live bands tend to play faster, shit's intense when it's already at Quo Vadis's speed.

@UnholyX07Death he doesn't suck. but his sense of timing is kinda off. he constantly seems to speed up and rush fills, and then he kinda butchers parts that are weirdly timed, like the middle of break the cycle.

their new drummer is patrice hamelin from another canadian band called martyr. they are doing some great music too, check out their albums warp zone or feeding the abscess. but well, he can't beat yanic.

Got to see Quo Vadis in February or something like that, but sadly they didn't have Janick on drums. Dude from Martyr was substituting though, so that was pretty fucking cool.
