I interpreted this way differently before this vid. Im very cynical so I thought of it as like, Everyones the same and no one is any different like everyone sucks. lol probably just my negative teenager approach to it :)

i think that he means not really "going back" to who we used to be... i kinda agree with batreyud... except for the "happiness you had before them part" since he/she says somepeople were never actually happy... so i guess its about looking at that happy person you could be and say "tomorrow i'll be you"... so its yeah finding happiness in who you are, but not to fit in with anybody but yourself
