Now i have a 100% good working HTC Diamond again.
SO. plz dont attempt to change the screen... u will just crack it... as i did on my dads faulty screen, lucky me it was broken before i laid my hands on it haha :D

I have established the not so hard way that the screen actually is glued to the chassi so no you cant change the screen that way.
My dad's Diamond screen is broken and my Diamond has a faulty WLAN and tilt-sensor.
So my solution was to dissasemble my dads phone and replace his hardware with my fully functional screen
