THIS is wrestling.....
-
Most of Wahoo's interviews always starting with him saying "well you know,"
-
Ronnie Garvin was in a program with Nikita and Magnum T.A. was scheduled to win the NWA Title from Ric Flair at Starcade 86. However, after the accident that ended Magnum's career, Garvin was put in a program with Big Bubba Rogers (Ray Traylor) and Nikita was turned face. The angle for the title switch was supposed to start the night after Magnum's accident.

I miss Ron Garvin and the Rock'n'Roll Express as well. This was an era when wrestling was truly enjoyable and exciting. People would talk about those matches for days!

i always wondered whose pussy idea it was to NEVER give The Road Warriors a title shot while the rnr's were champs? Dusty didn't utilize his personnel to its fullest extent. The RW shouldve been champs at least twice as opposed to rnr 4 times. I cant believe i still think about that when i watch this stuff.....

I completely agree jwilliams. The biggest rip off and chance to remove rock n roll came in 86 at starcade. During that time the rock n wrestling connection had dwindled, and I always believed that the Anderson's could of had great feuds with the warriors, Nikita and Dusty, or even the free birds. At least their was one crockett brother who had his head on straight.

The Rock n Roll Express were no match 4 the Andersons. JCP let RRE win those belts only 2 satisfy their as Ric Flair says "Teenybopper fanbase" LOL Morton and Gibson were 2 clowns and deserved 2 be beaten 2 a pulp

nice hat for Garvin. Slightly ill fitting, we can overlook that...
I loved these town specific promos! I miss them.

actually the chief should have been the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT champion!! the atmosphere was ripe 4 it when he turned heel in 84. he would've made an excellent world champ with that vicious attitude he had back then. the chief defended that us title v bruiser brody AND stan hansen respectively and still maintained the belt. definitely one of the greatest to never win the world title.
