The 24-Hour Universal Design Challenge came to Dublin for the first time in 2009. 5 teams - comprosing approximately 50 design professionals - were each teamed with a design partner, who had various types of physical disabilities. Each team had to come up with a universal design concept for a Dublin street, taking into account their design partner's particular needs, but which would be usable by everyone. And they only had 24 hours to come up with those concepts! Here are the highlights.
