That's a fine idea. It does require a lot of different non-standard seat posts, but maybe it's worth doing.

SDG do an I-beam fixture instead of a rail mount. To make it lighter weight and less rubbing issue, because it narrower.
I'm wondering if you consider doing something similar in the future?

Xringer: We'll definitely try to get some good video. We were just out riding single track on mountain bikes in Park City, Utah with no problems, but certainly understand your concern.

Are their any videos of the Nexride saddle being used?
Would like to see how they would do on comfort and hybrid bikes when taken off-pavement.
I like the idea of the seat rotating under you, to prevent back-of-thigh pressure,
but it seems like it might 'feel' unstable to me.
I don't like the idea of sliding forward off the seat, when stopping-short, and having my junk land on those two metal rods. That 3 or 4 inch drop might hurt some..
