Thanks for posting! Which MRC decoder is that? Any problems getting the speaker to fit? I'm looking to put one in an Athearn SW1500. Not much room.

Sure it sounds like an Alco but not the right Alco. This decoder from MRC has a recording from an RS-3 but MRC markets it for the Alco S units.

thanx for the post, I have an S 2, I am getting this sound unit, Very nice video- nice layout!!! Persevere( in 1963 my dad was at work,CN & W, got me a cab ride in this type engine & I'm still smilin)
