@FelixMerchant sorry but what are you talking about? Richard Parry is involved in many musical projects (do some search), he also contributed to a number of songs on this album and joined them onstage during Arcade Fire tour in which The National were an opener. BTW The Suburbs is a great album. Both bands are different but still very good.

Richard Reed Perry may as well hang around with The National as his own band have blown it and made a very mediocre album despite been long overdue the album falls flat! Thats Matt Berninger screaming! The best frontman in a long time! Great lyrics great melodies and great passionate deliverys he is the real deal in a time of fakers!!!

2:36 LMAO!! Who is screaming like that?
@FelixMerchant don't you feel special. Richard does a lot of producing for AF and The National, and provided vocals on this album. Arcade Fire was trying something different; the nerve of trying to move forward with talent at your disposal. Not every band is trying to please everyone, and thank God these two don't listen to stupid fans such as yourself. Both bands are good, learn to musically coexist.
Do us all a favor and keep your pointless opinions to yourself.
