I too am from good ol' Lubbock, TX! I worte Natalie Maines and told her I know exactly how she felt! Lubbock will always be home, but there are generations of people who have never stepped beyond Loop 289. Lubbockites are quick to judge but forget that they too their own sins to redeem. They judge Natalie for saying she was ashamed of Bush, well as I recall everyone criticized him when he was our governor! I moved out to Cali to be the next BEST thing out of Lubbock! So go Dixie Chicks!!

She wasn't bitching about Lubbock, she's said a million times that she wouldn't have grown up anywhere else and she loves it...She was only talking about the many people who attacked her rather than supporting her who were unfortunately from her own hometown...do your homework before you talk shit

from Lubbock and still live here, i agree with there lyrics 120%. I enjoy the Dixie chicks, and Im proud to be from here, more proud that the Dixie chicks have a mind of theyre own..something Lubbock frowns on....Hypocrits

Thanks everyone! I don't live in Lubbock so it took quite a bit of research to find everything. It started out as a private search and then I decided to help out everyone who didn't understand certain little innuendos and references and such. More videos coming soon!
