@andrefrbk An attack on our freedom is what bush had said on T.V. Sounds like a guilty statement to me. The only time a statement is used like this is when police or Government takes one's freedom. Osama is not a police programmed person so such a statement can only be made by a corrupt system who would think or plan to take one's freedom. Consider occupy Wall Street, Consider the Terrorist Act in America, Consider stop and frisk. The subject is not race. The subject should be the CONSTITUTION.

Wow man, the first time i got stopped and frisked was in HS. I was on my way to basketball practice during a school holiday. I used my metro card, the cop stopped me and used my metro card as an excuse to frisk me for 15 mins. "You know you are not supposed to use your metro card during no school days." I said to him "I have my school jersey and everything for bball practice." He pointed his gun at me because i wouldn't empty my pockets, saying that "i looked dangerous." I was 16! :(

@Metals999 You are worng about giving up some freedoms to be safe so tell me how is giving up freedoms going to make you safe ? Giving up freedoms only make you a slave and theres nothing safe about that at all.... Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin

I love the part at 09:06 when it shows the statistic of racial distribution of the stop and frisks.
I wish it would show the income or level of wealth (better yet the lack of) in stop and frisks. White black, brown or whatever. I bet ALMOST all the stop and frisks of people in the lowest income brackets eg 0 -30,0000$.

There needs to be a balance in society between safety and freedom. Some freedoms need to be given up for safety but I think the question today is, have too many freedoms been given up for "perceived" safety ?

@andrefrbk Yes, Yale Law School did a great job with this subject and I wish this would go viral, but that only happens with music videos and entertainment I guess.
