Before Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox, there was Ornella Muti.
Voted "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World" in a world wide poll of readers in 1994 by the magazine Class.
Ornella was born March 9, 1955 as Francesca Romana Rivelli, to a Neapolitan father and Estonian mother.
Muti modelled as a teenager and made her film debut in 1970 in La moglie più bella (aka The Most Beautiful Wife).
She has primarily worked in Italian films but she made her British film debut as Princess Aura in Flash Gordon in 1980. American movies she appeared in include Love and Money(1982) Oscar (1991) and Once Upon a Crime(1992).
Ornella Muti has won three times the Silver Ribbon as best actress: in 1984 with The Future Is Woman (filmed when she was pregnant) in 1987 with Me and my sister of Carlo Verdone and in 1988 with Private Code , the role that was of Anna Magnani in the second episode of the film Love of Roberto Rossellini .
Since she started her Film career she has been in 105 Films.
