double neck build video

If theres one thing you get from this video it would be to WEAR A MASK!!!!, i lost my voice for about 3 days after painting the guitar

when i get the headstock cut out, im going to finish the neck with tung oil

I havent figured out how to wire it up yet so if any would like to offer any advice it would be appreciated

how did you figure out the neck angle?

@billycat1965 Well I just put a shim in mine... Did you read those instructions I sent you? It explains how to check the neck angle, and a couple of different ways to change it.

hey man what paint did you use for the finish, just like krylon or is it real guitar finish in the aerosol cans from stewmac or something? im looking into making my own double-neck (bass on top, guitar on bottom) & i want a real nice, yet inexpensive finish on it

@harrybud89 thats guitar lacquer from stewmac, really good stuff btw. You could probably get a nice finish using some kind of regular paint, but i would recommend using a good sanding sealer that way when you wet sand it, the wood doesn't swell.

I was thinking of building one of these, but I have a couple of questions I need answered first:

1. I have some Valspar stain+sealer I was thinking of using to put on the guitar. Is that a good idea or no?

2. Exactly how much did you have to modify the guitar itself to get it to play well enough?

@billycat1965 i need help on the whole dam thing,i brought it to the music center near my house and they were afraid to even try to wire it,i dont know what the problem is,but i need help from stage one thru the whole process im not that electronically inclined but im pretty good at instructions.
