Beevelop was a project run by SIFE Nottingham students in Northern Ghana between 2006 and 2008.
In September 2007, the beekeeping conference 'Bee Wise' inspired the creation of the 'Ticchammah' co-operative.
This united 45 different beekeeping groups, with a combined total of 1351 members.
In 2008, SIFE Nottingham's Beevelop project was able to TRIPLE the incomes of the 1351 members of Ticcammah.
This incredible achievement has lifted these Ghanaians above the poverty line, and allowed 1000 children the opportunity of an education, where there was none before.
