Great stuff. But the "Global Warming" panic seems to be the only way to encourage conservation and sustainable activity. Too bad - because panic leads to bad choices like ethanol from grain crops to replace gasoline. Time for nuclear power to give us some relief but panic based ecology will lead to ever poorer choices. And - "Global Warming"? Come on. That's a political game anyway.
Toilet paper is wasteful and full of carcinogens. Some peoples have used fine sand or peat moss , then put it around their flowers. We use an outhouse for 6 months, then fill it back in with soil from digging the new outhouse. After a year, we dig up the cured waste from the old outhouse to use as fertilizer or to heal skin diseases. It heals acne, poison ivy rash, eczema, and psoriasis.
My homeschooling 11 year old Son and I have been raw for over 5 years and looking forward to living a more sustainable life. We live in Vancouver,B.C.and are looking forward to moving to the country and creating rawsome retreats. Thanks for the inspiration.
