Joe Bonamassa at Pigtronix LA Amp Show '09 - PolySaturator

Joe Bonamassa is an amazing guitar player, so obviously we were totally pumped when he showed up in the Pigtronix room at the LA Amp show and proceeded to tear it up with our pedals. The opening passage uses the Philosopher's Tone Compressor. Joe checks out the PolySaturator next, followed by the new Aria pedal and EP2. @ericclapton00028 theres a difference between copying and being influenced by someone. no one can play like eric but no one can play like joe either. his soloing is filled with so much ammunition its unreal. i really think he is the future for conservative blues today and yould rather listen to him over eric any day

Me and my son met Joe at a gig in Norwich after he did a guitar workshop. He was one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you could wish to meet, with absolutely NO ' big star' status whatsoever. He even let a couple of people play his Les Paul while he was talking. The gig was superb too. There are so many well known bands and muso's who have their heads up their own arses, who treat the people who put them where they are like shit, but Joe Bonamassa is not one of them!
