Err...actually not. They scored 9.3 and got deducted with 0.1. KSK scored 9.35, so they still wouldn't have gotten champion anyway if they didn't make that mistake.

The deduction was not because they 'stepped', but because they missed their footing. I'm commenting on this without actually looking at the mistake again, but from what I can remember, the mistake was very very obvious if you're used to watching lion dances. The judging has been getting more strict lately. Just a small slip while doing a stack will already cause a 0.1 deduction.

I think the biggest deduction were at around 00:20 to 00:23 second and 3:33 - 3:35. These two move were quite lucky coz they can change immadiately. If not, definetly 3rd placing also dun have ald...

this guangxi team ,the 2004 pair is better than this 2006
pair...imagine this pair can get 3rd placing ...hope to see them in 2008...!If they improve more on their "shixing"im sure they beat ksk!

why was that a deduction thought thats not a slip of any kind... so because he stepped instead of hoped to the pole they got penalized?
