how hard do people play. I sometimes get pretty loud and none of that has ever happened to me.

I've had this problem with my Pearl Sensitone snare, but that's because two pieces inside the strainer keep coming loose.

heres my solution, i play really hard on my snare, and my throwoff comes off sometimes, so, just take rubberband, rap it around the throwoff and two lugs on both sides of the throwoff, keep it tight, it wont come out when your playing

@bigthunk I never had it with my thunder of swingstar snare.. But now I have a superstar hyperdrive 13" and i have this problem..

@dpgiaca97 It's an improvised cymbal stack. He rides on them sometimes and hits them like stack.
