A Letter To My Disease- Dedicated to all suffering with lupus

Systemic Lupus survivors, every day is a journey I know how strong you are to live in such a painful situation. I hope my poem can help give you strength and motivation. If not that then at least you know that someone out there understands how you feel.

I love your poem. It covers so much of what I go through on a daily basis. I've been feeling rather down lately but your poem revived the fight in me. I live in a small town in the middle of know where so not to many people know what Lupus is. It gets very lonely not having anyone who understands so I've turned to Youtube to try and connect with other lupus patients. I've also started a "Living with Lupus" page on Facebook. Keep fighting Hun. You've got real talent!!!

Beautiful, the beauty in the raw honesty of this poem is so refreshing. I'm really struggling at the moment with my Lupus. The loneliness of it, not knowing anyone else with sometimes can get me down more than the illness itself. Thank you for posting this, reminding me and others that we are not alone and we can fight every day as it comes. Stay strong. Thank you xxxx

@ct270965 Your very welcome ..I Too have been having a alot of flares lately. however what i have learned and still is learning is that You have to face lupus like you face a relationship You have to compromise. I hope you feel better soon But i will keep you in my prayers.
