4.not much view 2 much money wasted

5.parents dont want kids to watch

7.some anime r not good enough

8.kids get bored cause not funny(unlike spongebob)

It's annoying that Toonami is gone, but at least there's still Adult Swim. Sadly, they are only playing anime on Saturdays now, and they're mostly reruns. :(

@Pinkergloop yeah parents do watch tv but not what the younger generation watch, now the only anime is naruto but they are making all these d.c and marvels hero shows more popular

@ttpiett Parents DO watch TV. My parents do, every night! Also, Toonami doesn't just air anime but also American action cartoons like those Superman/Batman stuff. Also, we can watch anime in America but control the popularity.

@ttpiett also when i was growing up, toonami was showed around 9-10 pm, i dont know how your family works but my parents made me go to bed at 7. When i said that kids get bored im saying the toonami shows anime and so there is a story behind all the shows. what if one day i turned the tv on and they were playing episode 208 of bleach, how in the world would i know what is happening and they dont play shows from the very beginning so its hard to like a show when you must watch lots of episodes

back then, adults do not watch television(my parents didnt) so the main viewers were children and'or adults

it is because we are in America, they perfer to have american shows and if foreign animation becomes too popular, then american shows will make less money. so in order for america to make money they must produce their shows and thus took out foreign influences.

Just because it originates in Japan doesn't mean others shouldn't watch it! Think about it, Leonardo DaVinci's work is Italian and a lot of non-Italians know about it! It's at night? WHo the fuck cares! Kids get bored? Not a lot of kids watch that! When I was seven, my parents allowed me to watch Naruto you bastard!
