The Prayer

This is a junior lyrical dance from Deborah's Stage Door Center for the Performing Arts at Showstopper Battle Creek regionals 2006. I thought this was really interesting because the first time I saw it it was sort of boring and didn't look like a very good dance and just as I was about to stop it they started into a nice turning combination which shocked me coming from such a bad-so I thought- dance studio. Then of course I saw that they were from Deborah's. I just think it's interesting that we find this studio so amazing (which they are when it comes to turns and jumps) but they have difficulty dancing with emotion.

Sometimes studios have "b level" lines... dancers who are still working to be the best, if you know what I mean. I think they still deserve a chance to have a difficult dance and improve in their emotions, even if they aren't as strong as the upper level dancers. Don't judge :)

this dance is from '06 so they are 15 now, but they were like 13 then. the 2 smaller girls were 10-11 i believe.

i agree with the info. they are great at tricks. but the "in between stuff" isn't very strong.

well. ilovetodancealot, i think you and the person that posted this are really wrong they dance with tons of emotion and work really hard,dont get mad at us because our studio can turn and kick.
