My school gives us laptops to use while in classes and work on them independently. But you know, the only actual thing we do on the laptops is play games, chat, watch videos.

Since we've got our laptops, we've been trying to find ways to get around the Websense program that blocks us to go to YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, etc. And yes, we found a way. We used Proxy Servers. But there's a bad side about Proxy Servers. Websense and other website-blocking-softwares can sense the proxy server, and when you check back to the site, it's blocked! Trust me dude, this have happened more than 100 times in my school.

First of all, if you don't know what Proxy is, its what people use to browse the web anonymously. So you can unblock blocked websites!

Materials:

--USB/Flash Drive - Since we're gonna use this program on your school, work computer.

Lets get started by Downloading Tor. Go to http://www.torproject.org/ and click on Download Tor on the left of the page.

Now if you have a Mac computer in your school (or work), then click click the "Installation Bundle for Apple OS X". But since my school has Windows, we're gonna go with this, now click "Tor Browser Bundle for Windows, Zero installation. Great for USB drives! Pre-configured with Firefox and more." Since we're gonna be putting it in our Flash Drive. Do not choose "Installation Bundle for Windows, Easy to Install." because its not a portable one.

Run the program and go through the installation. Then go to where you downloaded it. Plug in your USB/Flash Drive and drag the Tor Browser folder to your USB. Now all you have to do is plug in your USB to your school computer and open up the Tor Browser folder. Then open up the Start Tor Browser program. Just wait til` firefox opens and browse the web freely!

@TechiezTuts hey i have a question about tor, can tor be tracked back to u in any way cause i don't want to lose access to the computers or something else bad happen...

cause they got the newest tech now and blocked everything, (because of some hackers that got admin acc)

and can u run tor from my email cause they started taking usbs and corrupting their data

@Quand9 No, you won't get tracked back. If they said that, then they're just saying that to scare you. Though, I'm in no way responsible for what could happen! That's your decision. I think you can run from your email, not sure, never tried it. You can try though.

okay i am 13 in school my teacher blocked the internet and i managed to get through his internet blocking tool and he got me in and 1 hour detention what do i do after i get access to the internet cuz webs would be blocked
