Yes, he is the one. Real name Ray Ragsdale. Born 1939 (or 1941?) in Clarkdale, Ga.

recorded for PREP Records in '57 (Rang Tang Ting Dong I'm The Japanese Sandman) and many more..

I had an album from Jack it had a song entitled "Wont You Come Home & Talk to a Stranger" great c&w ,drinking tune. Anyone could post that on You Tube?
