Grant's rough cut is done. He still has balance issues, and his wall climbing system still needs to be tightened up to get rid of a few glitches, but all the heavy lifting work is done.

Special thanks to LasLunder and Reiko26 for the Grant sprites. Palette created by me.

And Trevor got a little update too, due to his sorely lacking defensive capabilities.

  • the steel drums in the music kept throwing me off, I half expected to see ghastly palm trees and undead tropical beaches.....

  • @Solvicar Yes the bombs are from Haunted Castle (probably the most artificially difficult game in the series).

I have watching many fan game projects, but all are lame and nonsence attempts to copy Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Althrought your game lacks new sprites, even is worth an try due to its resemblance to nes games engines. Good work!

  • Obreck, have you play the japanese version of CV3? Grants main weapon is the throwing dagger. any chance of making that an option, keeping it true to the famicom version? and where can i get the latest demo of this game?
